Using promotional products as a marketing tool
There are so many marketing options available today that is difficult to know where to start. Of course, much of the focus these days is on online marketing, and there is a lot to be said for it. Campaigns such as search engine optimization, email marketing and social media marketing can bring significant results, fast. A good online marketer can be an excellent option for a start-up business as they will build and design a website and market the product or service online. If done properly this can be very effective when it comes to getting noticed fast. However, online marketing is not the answer for everyone. Sometimes, the more traditional marketing methods work best.
Take, for example, promotional products. Distributing pens, pencils, bags and other items that bear your businesses' logo and contact details can be a great way of promoting a product, especially within a local area. Selecting the right products and distributing them in the right places can let you target the market you really want. For example, a golf equipment shop in Brisbane might want to market itself in golf clubs around Queensland. This could be done by distributing small, golf-related items like ball markers and divot keys with the shop's logo. The shop could even offer more expensive items such as golf clubs and golf bags that bear its logos for prizes in golf competitions. This is taking just one small example, the possibilities to promote a brand with products is almost endless.
